Human Resources is a play on words. The exhibition, developed in collaboration with life model Gigi, stages a series of encounters between the excessive, unruly capacities of the female body and the mundane architectures of home and office life. Preston’s works play within a punning visual economy that misfiles the familiar, treating language less as a stable system than something available for misuse, or rearrangement.
